Performance from February 9 to 12 at the Comédie de Genève. Marion Siéfert imagines a future shaped by climate change and social upheaval.

At a time shaped both by the dizzying acceleration of communication technologies and by the unfolding climate crisis, Marion Siéfert creates a dystopian fiction probing the anxieties of our era.
In a near future, in a France heated to +5°C, Paul, CEO of one of the country’s largest oil corporations, has spent years sheltering with his daughter Ami inside the luxury bunker he built for himself. From this underground refuge, enhanced by neural implants, he continues to manage his business empire remotely. Everything would seem under control, were it not for the fact that Ami has recently withdrawn into profound silence.
Extending the concerns of her previous works, from the contamination of everyday life by digital spaces in jeanne_dark_ and Daddy, to the place of children within contemporary society in Le Grand sommeil, and continuing her exploration of documentary and fiction, Marion Siéfert here collaborates with writer and filmmaker Matthieu Bareyre to imagine a story deeply rooted in the fears, fragilities and contradictions of our present world.
