Anti-racism workshop for children aged 6 to 8. MEG Library. Sunday 22 November, 2.00 pm to 3.00 pm.

The workshop will be held in French.
Les Créatives and the MEG are joining forces for a weekend packed with a varied programme entirely dedicated to the youngest children.
Drawing on a selection of children’s books, this workshop explores the topics of racism and anti-racism with the children. What prejudices have they already internalised? How can we tackle these issues together? What tools can we use to empower ourselves when we are victims of racism? It is never too early to develop a critical perspective and acquire the resources needed for an anti-racist upbringing. Designed as a space for dialogue with the children, this session allows them to speak freely, share experiences, questions or doubts, without other adults present.
BLÉD is a travelling decolonial library which, amongst other things, offers anti-racism workshops for young children, much as one might learn to draw or dance. Anti-racism is, in fact, the result of active learning.
