Chien Bleu continues to deliver intimate, obscure lyrics backed by rhythmic instrumentals, this time focusing on transmission, fatherhood and childhood wounds. For this new work, described by the press as his most accomplished, he has surrounded himself with beatmaker and long-time partner Loupa and OEL Record, the Brussels-based sound engineer best known for his work with Roméo Elvis. Oben, a rapper from Geneva, draws his inspiration from everyday life, raw emotions and constant introspection. His journey began in a bedroom shared with his brother and producer, dyd. Together, they developed a musical alchemy: personal lyrics supported by pared-down, atmospheric productions.
