On the programme:

• warming up the body and voice through movement and vocal exercises, guided circle songs to develop the ability to sing in harmony with several voices,

• listening to and learning songs linked to Lake Geneva to discover the musical beauty of the region. Starting in unison, then adding a second and third voice where appropriate.

• Basic vocal technique: fundamental principles – breathing and support, volume and posture – essential for producing a high-quality sound whilst staying in tune with your body’s sensations, ensuring a healthy voice that sings with pleasure and endurance

• Finally, interpretation focusing on the lyrics, the message, the rhythm and the music of the song

Prerequisites: none, other than a desire to sing and a thirst for learning. No need to read music; learning by ear.

Open to everyone aged 16 and over. You can join this workshop at any time. You can attend once, several times or every session to build up a repertoire and sing in November and December at two small, optional and unpretentious concerts.
