CONCERT (Celtic Festival) - Ameigas Galicians Traditions

Fr 4 December 2026 | 20:00 | Temple Saint-Gervais. Ameigas brings together four musicians whose artistic journeys create a dialogue between Galicia and Great Britain.

joueuse de cornemuse galicienne

The project grew out of the meeting between Sandra Tamayo Ramos (gaita and vocals) and Cassandre Balbar (gaita and recorders), both of whom were drawn from an early age to the expressive power of Galician music. Since then, each has followed her own path, shaped by a deep commitment to traditional sources, international collaborations, and a passion for musical exchange.
They are joined here by their long-standing musical partners.
Alongside Cassandre Balbar, Phil Alexander performs in a duo that blends original compositions with inspirations drawn from Galician, British, and klezmer traditions.
For many years, Sandra Tamayo Ramos and Carlos Peso Boullosa have been active participants in Galicia's vibrant musical scene, where rural heritage continues to inspire inventive and outward-looking musical forms.
