Concert'eau : the symphonic turtle by Sabine from the french TV Show "C'est pas sorcier"
Concert in pictures
In the spirit of the TV programme C'est pas sorcier, Sabine Quindou and her sea turtle reveal the vital importance of water and the oceans. If it could talk, what would this turtle say about its life at the bottom of the oceans? Does it know when water arrived on Earth, how the ocean became the cradle of life, and the role it plays today in regulating the climate ?
The problem is that Lady Turtle is angry. She has a grudge against the humans who are polluting her world. To convince her to testify, and win her friendship, it will take all the talent of an orchestra and the beauty of the most famous pieces of the classical repertoire dedicated to the sea. A unique and fantastic encounter between Music and Science to understand how and why taking care of ourselves also means taking care of the ocean...
Written and directed by Sabine Quindou, in partnership with the CNRS Borea laboratory (underwater biology), premiered in November 2023 by the Orchestre de Paris - Philharmonie de Paris, performed by Sabine Quindou and Françoise Carrière in the role of the Turtle.
