“BODIES & TERRITORIES”
During this day, we will explore various tools that I have developed over more than 20 years of research into the interrelationships between bodies and landscapes/environments/territories.
In a “body-thinking” approach, we will alternate between movement (inspired by Body Mind Centering and Bodyweather) and reflective and poetic moments (inspired by popular education tools and references from different disciplines and cultures). We will likely go out into public spaces to experience some of their textures and challenges.
This proposal is open to everyone, with or without dance experience. It is part of the writing project that will be the focus of my residency at Projet H107, which you can get a glimpse of on Thursday, May 7 at 7 p.m., during the opening of my residency to the public as part of Jeudis du H107. www.sofiedubs.com
