Feldup / Moictani
Feldup often builds his tracks like an architect, stretching them out over ten minutes to create an atmosphere that is as unsettling as it is electrifying.
In the 2000s, rock was shaken to its core by a wave of New York bands led by The Strokes and their explosive energy. Twenty years later, that legacy still resonates in the music of French artist Félix Dupuis, aka Feldup.
But while Casablancas and company were known for their sharp, immediate sound, Feldup takes a different route — building many of his tracks like an architect, sometimes stretching them to ten minutes to carefully craft an atmosphere that’s as unsettling as it is electrifying.
Shifting between quiet introspection and raw outbursts, Feldup shows a masterful command of song structure, playing with intensity and carefully balancing heavy, dissonant guitar textures. His lyrics — dark, unfiltered, deeply personal — echo past anguish and lived pain.
His voice, urgent and strained, often on the verge of breaking, gives his music an emotional power that won’t leave anyone untouched.
Opening the night, Spanish-Swiss artist Tania Praz turns up the heat with her project Moictani.
What began as a solo bedroom project has evolved into a shared adventure with new passionate collaborators, marking a turning point in her musical path and artistic activism. Her latest track, No me gusta, is just a taste of what’s to come — Moictani is pure fire, a volatile mix set to ignite the stage at Undertown.
