Luís Correia Carmelo takes us on an intimate journey through the stories of Portuguese oral tradition that he has collected over the course of his career as a storyteller and researcher in Portugal. Raised in Brazil, he intertwines his own quest for identity with these stories that helped him rediscover his roots. Accompanied by the diatonic accordion, he pays homage to the traditional and contemporary storytellers he has encountered, bringing these tales and songs back to life.
