Fête du Théâtre returns to Geneva from October 5 to 12, 2025, for a week-long celebration of the performing arts in all their forms. Entirely free and open to all, the event invites the public to discover the richness of theatre in Geneva and the French-speaking region of Switzerland through a varied, welcoming, and surprising program.
On October 5, La Cour à Germaine kicks off the festivities with open-air performances across several neighborhoods of the city. From October 6 to 8, the program is dedicated to performing arts professionals, offering workshops, meetings, and exchanges centered on contemporary creation.
October 9 shines a spotlight on our seniors, with tailored events designed to help them (re)experience the magic of live performance. Then, from October 10 to 12, the general public is invited to explore a wide array of free shows, held in both cultural institutions and more unusual venues: parks, hospitals, museums, and even a transformed bibliobus.
Thanks to the support of many partners, Fête du Théâtre stands out as a major cultural event in Geneva, bringing together artists, residents, and the simply curious around a shared passion: the performing arts.
