FILMAR 2026 Screening of Belén
For the 28th edition of the FILMAR Festival in Latin America, Belén de Dolores by Dolores Fonzi will be screened at Cinlux and the Cinémas du Grütli—with support from the Agenda 21 Office.

Arrested at the hospital following a miscarriage, Belén is tried for abortion and convicted of homicide. Supported by a feminist collective, she decides to fight alongside her lawyer, played by Dolores Fonzi, the film’s director and a renowned actress. Based on real events, this explosive case transformed an individual situation into a major political struggle for women’s rights in Argentina.
