History
Founded in 2020 by Tropical Corner and Boards magazine, the GVA Wind Festival is a must-see water sports event for all ages. Several thousand spectators are expected over the five days of competition.
The association aims to promote water sports, particularly windsurfing, wing surfing, foiling, and related disciplines. Its main objective is to organize multidisciplinary sporting events in a spirit of friendship and respect.

Committed to healthy, respectful, and fair sport, the association actively campaigns against gender-based violence in sport and works to improve the representation of women. It fully adheres to the values of fair play, in particular through its respect for and promotion of the Swiss Sports Ethics Charter.

As a non-profit organization, the association reinvests all of its income in the development of its activities, in the service of its members and its objectives.
