Geneva's Wineries Open Day 2025
The next Open wine Cellars event will be held on 24 May 2025! More than seventy wineries in the canton will be open to the public.
Geneva is home to idyllic wine-growing areas which, thanks to the proximity of the Jura, the Pre-Alps and Lake Geneva, produce a variety of microclimates and soils.
Geneva, Switzerland's third-largest wine-growing canton, enjoys a special situation with its three specific regions: the Mandement, the regions between ‘Arve et Rhône’ (Lully, Bernex, Soral, etc.) and between ‘Arve et Lac’ (Jussy, Anières, Gy, etc.). On Saturday 24 May, some 80 wineries from across the canton will be welcoming the public to present the 2024 vintage and the barrel-aged vintages of 2023. This day of discoveries will also be an opportunity to take a magnificent walk through the Geneva countryside, passing from village to village and exploring these three regions, each with its own character.
The day pass will be sold for CHF 20 on site by the wineries. It will entitle you to receive the famous tasting glass created especially for the occasion. Designed for quality tasting, the stem is engraved with the canton's coat of arms.
