GUIDED TOURS OF THE EXHIBITION
Every day at 12 pm, 2 pm and 3 pm. On Thursdays also at 6:30 pm and 7:30 pm. On Saturdays and Sundays also at 4 pm (50 min). Open to everyone aged 12 and over.

WATCHMAKING WORKSHOPS
Led by the Geneva Watchmaking School, these introductory workshops offer participants an opportunity to delve into the inner workings of a watch and experience watchmaking skills such as assembly, bevelling and pivoting.
Wednesdays at 2 pm and 3 pm. Saturdays and Sundays at 11 am, 1 pm, 2 pm and 3 pm (60 min). Open to everyone aged 10 and over.

WORKSHOPS FOR CHILDREN
➊ “Learn to Tell the Time”, ages 4 to 6
This workshop introduces young children to reading the time on an analogue clock. They will create their own colourful watch dial.
Saturday 31 October at 3:30 pm, Sunday 8 November and Saturday 14 November at 1:30 pm (60 min). 18 places available.

➋ Engraving Workshop, ages 6 to 8
This workshop gives younger participants the opportunity to step into the shoes of an engraver by engraving and setting a “case back”.
Sunday 8 November at 3:30 pm and Wednesday 11 November at 1:30 pm (75 min). 18 places available.

➌ “Dress Up Your Clock”, ages 7 to 12
This workshop gives younger participants the opportunity to take apart and reassemble a working clock.
Saturday 31 October at 1:30 pm, Wednesday 11 November and Saturday 14 November at 3:30 pm (75 min). 18 places available.

TALK
“How did Geneva and Switzerland become a global benchmark for fine watchmaking?” Pascal Ravessoud, Vice-President of the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie (FHH), will explain how Geneva, followed by the Jura Arc, developed a tradition of excellence that has become a global benchmark.
Thursday 5 November at 6 pm (45 min). Open to everyone aged 15 and over.

COMBINED EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMME FOR SCHOOLS
“Discovering Watchmaking”
Three combined activities for students aged 10 to 16 (8P and Cycle d’orientation):

  • Introductory watchmaking workshop (45 min)
  • “Gears” workshop (45 min)
  • Guided tour of the exhibition of the 84 timepieces (45 min)

Tuesdays (3 and 10 November), Wednesdays (4 and 11 November), and Fridays (30 October, 6 and 13 November). Each workshop lasts 45 minutes, with a total duration of 180 minutes for the entire school visit, including breaks. Maximum 24 students.
