Guided tour of the exhibition “Ferdinand Hodler: Profession of Faith” led by its curator and designer, Niklaus Manuel Güdel

Guided tour with the exhibition curator

F. Hodler", Galerie Michael Haas.

On the occasion of a special preview, Niklaus Manuel Güdel, the exhibition’s curator, invites you to discover the exhibition *Ferdinand Hodler: A Statement of Faith*, featuring a selection of some fifty paintings, drawings, and documents from prestigious art collections in Switzerland and Germany.
From his early Protestant-inspired religious scenes to his grand Symbolist compositions, Hodler’s work reveals itself as a true modern spiritual quest. Nature, the human body, rhythm, and the harmony of forms become expressions of an inner search, in which the artist explores the unity between human beings, the natural world, and universal harmony.
Throughout the tour, Niklaus Manuel Güdel will share insights into this exhibition and reveal the contemplative and deeply personal dimension of Hodler’s work.
