CTCC - Chinese Tradition Culture & Custum Studies
The GuZheng, which means ancient zither, is probably the best known and most widespread traditional Chinese musical instrument. Its elegant sound, wide range, complexity, and potential for demonstration are the keys to its success. Traditional Chinese music mainly uses a pentatonic scale, meaning it uses five fundamental notes: C, D, E, G, and A. The GuZheng has 21 strings that correspond to these notes.
