Ouinch Ouinch Collective
Contagion of ardour/deflagration of energy/dive into the waves of rhythm.

The Ouinchs (mischievous little fairies) perform an ambiguous and voracious dance, in a medieval-fashion universe, at the crossroads of so-called ‘traditional’ dances and so-called ‘modern’ clubbing dances.
The collective wants to invent a utopian and universal dance in which the public space is a place of festive, contemporary and inclusive ritual.
The performance culminates in a huge carnival and queer party.

OUINCH OUINCH are a moving collective, co-directed by Karine Dahouindji and Marius Barthaux.
Since 2019, the company has created three plays and a host of performances, always in a horizontal creative process.
OUINCH OUINCH create shows that are raw, carnivalesque, absurd, often festive, funny and direct.
Shows that encourage the emergence of intense and authentic relationships with reality, while at the same time being steeped in queer, pop and dreamlike fictions.
All with a colourful aesthetic that mixes period references. Sometimes retro-futuristic, sometimes medieval, the OUINCH, mischievous and naïve little fairies, often wander outside, sometimes in clubs or even in theatres, enchanting the world and its inhabitants with their buffoonish presence.
In this way, the collective is developing a processual, fun approach to collective, cross-disciplinary, in situ, festive and immersive creation.
Their two latest creations, ‘HAPPY HYPE’ (re-created in 2021) and ‘CACHALOTTE’ (created in 2022), continue their international tour in the 24-25 season.
