How far does freedom of expression go?

However, after the municipality of Cologny—where the event was to take place—denied authorisation, the journalists behind the project filed an appeal. Pending the verdict, the festival was forced to cancel the planned tours. Nevertheless, we are keen to show you what this tour would have looked and sounded like. Some key moments from the tour, written by journalists Antoine Harari and Gabriel Tejedor and led by actor Sarkis Ohanessian, will therefore be revealed in a video presentation.
This special evening will then continue with a debate analysing the growing tension between freedom of information and the right to privacy/and the respect for personality rights. The municipality cited reasons of public order and a potential threat to the reputation of its residents. But does this prohibition not amount to a threat to freedom of expression and the public’s right to be informed?
