The Métiers d'Art Genève (MAG) Association is delighted to once again organize the European Artistic Crafts Days (JEMA) from Friday, March 27 to Sunday, March 29, 2026.

The European Artistic Crafts Days (JEMA) is the annual gathering for artistic crafts professionals in Geneva. Ceramists, milliners, calligraphers, cabinetmakers, model makers, watchmakers, jewelers, and many others come together to showcase their unique and valuable skills to the public. The goal of JEMA is to promote artistic crafts through demonstrations, interactive activities, and exchanges. This event offers the chance to engage with Geneva’s heritage and meet passionate professionals whose expertise has been developed and passed down through generations. It’s also an opportunity to inspire young people to pursue careers that will ensure the longevity of these rare crafts. There different ways are available.
As usual, the Pavilion Sicli will be the central point of the event with :
Interactive Stands: Around thirty artisans will host stands with live demonstrations, allowing you to ask questions about their materials and tools.
Training Schools: Several educational institutions will showcase their programs and answer questions about their curricula.
Video Screenings: A projection room will feature over 40 video capsules filmed in artisans’ workshops, revealing spaces that are often hidden from the public.
Immersive Workshops: Hands-on sessions will introduce you to various artistic crafts in an engaging and playful way.

Registration: Sign-ups for the introductory workshops open in early March on our website
Artisans will open the doors of their own workshops, giving you the chance to step inside the spaces where craftsmanship and creativity come to life. The list of participating artisans will be available on our website closer to the event.

When: Friday, March 27 to Sunday, March 29 (according to each workshop’s schedule)
How: Free participation, subject to registration depending on the workshop or activity
Registration: Sign-ups for the activities offered by the artisans will open in early March on our website
Cultural institutions in Geneva will open their doors, offering enriching activities in behind-the-scenes areas and workshops. The program includes tours, exhibitions, demonstrations, and screenings. The list of participating institutions will be revealed on our website closer to the event.
