Nicolas Fraissinet with OWNI opening at Catalyse as part of the 10th edition of Printemps de la Poésie
GIVING SONGS A VOICE
Give song lyrics the attention they deserve! Featuring Joie Sauvage, the new show by Nicolas Fraissinet.
With Catalyse, Geneva’s hub for vocal arts and a talent incubator, we invite you to celebrate the festival’s closing night by putting the spotlight on lyrics! Discover the songwriting of Nicolas Fraissinet, young Swiss talent OWNI, and internationally renowned songs stripped—playfully—of their musical attributes.
SONGS IN SEARCH OF SOUND
A group of young actors in training at Catalyse have dared to strip five well-known songs of their melodies. In a poetic and theatrical 30-minute experience, they will set the tone for the evening, inviting you to hear familiar lyrics in a new light, uncovering their hidden poetic depths.
THE SILENT VOICES
Two artists will take the stage, each with a unique approach, but sharing the same desire to amplify voices that are too often unheard.
In Joie Sauvage, his latest project combining a poetry collection, an album, and a live show with video projections, composer, lyricist, and performer Nicolas Fraissinet advocates for nature and animal rights while reaffirming the importance of reconnecting with our vitality. A hymn to rebellion and hope, a powerful call for resilience.
Opening for him, young Swiss artist OWNI will present some of their own work as well as a brand-new song created in a writing workshop led by Nicolas Fraissinet last December as part of the Printemps de la Poésie festival, under the INKUBA 2024-2025 program and during their residency at Catalyse.
A joyous and untamed festival finale, paying tribute to the power of words and all forms of poetry.

Training for amateurs, with a specialized school for singing, theater, and improvisation.
Creative support and guidance for young talents in contemporary music.
Performance space, featuring a diverse program of concerts, shows, and events throughout the year.
Catalyse is located in a former garage in the heart of Geneva’s Eaux-Vives district and offers various spaces. A vibrant, inspiring place, deeply connected to creativity, Catalyse invites you to raise your voice together and embrace your individuality.
OWNI
OWNI is both an “ovni” (UFO) and “omni” (universal), believing that individuality cannot exist without shared experiences. The 21-year-old Swiss singer-songwriter blends light pop with melancholic French chanson. As a queer artist and sociology student, they are deeply sensitive to identities and human relationships, which serve as inspiration for their lyrics. With a poetic touch and gentle strength, they become a warrior of light, striving to create a space where everyone can find themselves and dream. OWNI is the artist selected for the INKUBA mentorship program (by Catalyse) for the 2024-2025 season.
NICOLAS FRAISSINET
Franco-Swiss singer Nicolas Fraissinet is an unclassifiable artist, crafting a unique musical universe where acoustic and electronic elements subtly merge, always anchored by the tenderness of the piano. With a voice that shifts between bright and raw, and an infectious energy, he returns to the stage with Joie Sauvage, a deeply authentic project.
In this new show combining live performance with video projections, Fraissinet passionately explores themes close to his heart: nature, the defense of animal rights, and the rediscovery of our own humanity. Between high-energy pieces and delicate piano-vocal moments, he continues his singular artistic journey, drawing inspiration from eclectic figures such as Tori Amos and David Bowie.
