It's a well-known fact: you can't say anything anymore! You can't even say ‘You can't say anything anymore’ without someone telling you that "You can't say that!". And it's well known that ‘History is written by the victors’ and ‘If you don't know History, you're doomed to relive it’. Ouch. Too late.

And in today's world, saturated with ‘facts’, we choose the ones that suit us best to be on the right side of History. It's also a well-known fact that stories imprint certain behaviours on us. And that we have to deconstruct them if we want to be on the right side of History.

But then, what can Theatre actually do in this endless polarisation which, dare we say it, is fairly typical of the world we live in these days? What narratives impart the right behaviours? Who has the right to express what?

The Cie Don't Stop Me Now makes cancel culture accessible to all. Eight artists embody the positions of these moral tribes who no longer agree on anything, revisiting how science has been hijacked for the worst political ends, trying out the destiny of a teenager's parents, torn by her questions about gender, as well as the everday life of a clinic whose staff are burnt out...
