There are five of them, united as the fingers of one hand, forming a valiant battalion of dancers who have just graduated from La Manufacture. Continuing their quest to explore the links between belief and knowledge, this time the Foulles collective are venturing into the soft brain. Welcome to the cosy landscape of the brain, where visions and hallucinations merge. Soft and welcoming, the soft brain is nonetheless the epicentre of the nervous system that influences our movements, our thoughts and our fears. Dancing in the cranium, shaking your disco-brain to your core, promises to turn our certainties upside down. The tender part of the control organ is also a bastion of resistance in the face of the collapse of a world that has become obsolete, by learning to fall, by accepting abandonment and play.
