Le repos is the new aspect of Clara Delorme's work on monochromes. A piece imagined for four performers in an evolving scenography that goes from blue to orange. Funeral anticipation, sweet and nostalgic, rest is a crossing to say goodbye, planning in advance.

In this piece, Clara Delorme worked on a form of collective lament with advanced theatricality, strongly inspired by the Pleureuses, whose cathartic job is to cry for others. Through their cries, they open a welcoming and warm emotional space in those who hear them. Through their tears, they make sadness a little less lonely, at least for a moment.

Good times and bad times never last. Rest is an invitation not to try to freeze things but to embrace the movement of states. Like a breath of air that for a moment can bring out a slight smile on a sad day, or a nostalgic memory that catches us for a few seconds in the middle of laughter.
