LE VERRE, AU-DELÀ DE LA MATIÈRE
Rétrospective sur les collections du CIRVA, Centre international de recherche sur le verre et les arts plastiques de Marseille
This exhibition aims to take a contemporary look at a thousand-year-old material through the collection of the International Center for Research on Glass and Plastic Arts (Cirva) in Marseille. More than two hundred objects from this creative utopia, initiated in 1983, bear witness to a transdisciplinary approach, including works by Ettore Sottsass, Pierre Charpin, Betty Woodman, Bob Wilson, Giuseppe Penone, Jana Sterbak, and James Lee Byars.
This exhibition has been designed and produced by the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Saint-Étienne Métropole, in partnership with Cirva.
