Les Hurlements d’Léo et Les Fils de Teuhpu
La Bretelle celebrates the 10th anniversary of its associative takeover with a concert at the Rez-Usine
LES HURLEMENTS D'LEO
Back in 1996, Laurent Kebous and Erwan Naour joined forces to write Le Café des Jours Heureux, the catalyst for nearly three decades of singing, sharing and performing in France and over forty other countries. In 2022, after a much-needed break, Erwan returns to the pack. On stage, the team is more solid than ever. And the chemistry works wherever Les Hurlements light the fuse. Backstage, the two soul brothers rediscover the pleasure of writing together. They put forward their ideas, and the creative fire spreads enthusiastically to the rest of the crew. From this effervescence arose the obvious: it was time to create again, to give birth to an album shaped by many hands, many hearts. It's no longer a desire...but a need. This new album, to be released at the end of September 2025 on the At(h)ome label, is that of a collective, borrowing the DNA that made it a success. Faithful to its taste for adventure and the exploration of new paths, with ample lungs. As a nod to fate, the group is now back with 3C, the historic partner who accompanied them from their beginnings, between 1996 and 2006. Les Hurlements are back, and with them, energy, emotion and the promise of moments that these days are all too rare. The stage awaits them. So does their audience.
LES FILS DE TEUHPU
Les Fils de Teuhpu is a wacky rock'n'roll band with jazz, calypso, fanfare and a whole host of other musical influences. And that's what Teuhpu's style is all about: eclecticism! As for the lyrics, the group expresses itself in French, always in a tone of derision and humor, but always committed to social issues. The group was formed in 1995, and has played over 2000 concerts in France and abroad. The group has five albums and two live shows to its credit, as well as numerous collaborations with other artists, including Hurlements d'Léo, Ogres de Barback, Tryo, Ludwig von 88, Debout sur le Zinc and Joyeux Urbains.
