Created for the first time in Moscow in 1901 by the eminent Stanislavski, Chekhov's play is now 124 years old but still has all its teeth. Embodying journalists who publicly record a radio show as part of a theater festival, the BPM collective proceeds to subvert this classic in a way that is as surprising as it is interesting, by telling together the story, real or fictional, of the countless stagings of this emblematic work. Catherine Büchi, Léa Pohlhammer and Pierre Mifsud cast a triple amused and caustic look in the mirror by summoning their own family anecdotes, their place in the sibling order, their dreams and illusions.
