Gabriel Alvarez revives two key works from his company’s repertoire. To mark the 40th anniversary of his Studio d’Action Théâtrale, he also pays tribute to a fellow traveler who has recently passed away: Valère Novarina.
It is an archipelago of acts, a cluster of unresolved actions—cascades of duets, circus-like liturgies, lamentations, a spoken landscape, songs, a double pronominal drama, a *chronomachy*... A series of attractions akin to the movements of a ballet—in short, a comic drama of breathing.
