LUCIA SPANO AND HUGO SATORRE
Poetic Tango in collaboration with Casita Tango
Certain sounds awaken memories, bring back memories. And when a bandoneon sounds, Doña Tango responds. From a secret corner, beneath the Río de la Plata, she emerges with a serene step, her voice laden with stories. Doña Tango is a stage experience where music, poetry, and theater are interwoven. A character born from the very breath of tango presents herself, for the first time, before the instrument that called her. Together, they explore the origins of the genre, its landscapes, its evolution, and the emotion that inhabits it. Tango cannot be explained; it must be felt. And in this work, it delights. Because deep within each of us, there is a little bit of tango sleeping.
