Luzmila Carpio, a Bolivian Quechua artist, composer and author, is considered one of the most recognized singers in world music.
With an extensive international career, 25 albums released and around 120 songs composed, she has shared the stage with artists such as Miriam Makeba, Cesaria Evora, Susana Baca, Gilberto Gil and Lila Downs, among others.
Luzmila Carpio's emblematic voice resonates from the Andes, spreading messages of indigenous struggle, women's emancipation and unrelenting love for the people and planet around us.
An indisputable icon of Bolivian Andean culture whose career spans several decades.
