MACBETHS ON AIR

With Liona Lutz, Mathilde Lyon and Georgia Rushton

What if the Macbeth couple were dissected in a True Crime podcast?

On stage, Liona Lutz, Mathilde Lyon, and Georgia Rushton transform tragedy into a journalistic investigation. The three Witches become reporters, boundaries shift, and words multiply.

Macbeth seen differently. Questioned, displaced, and challenged by the complexity of today's world.

A contemporary, multilingual, female political thriller informed by the language of Shakespeare.

La Cie à Plumes is a collective composed primarily of women passionate about theater and the performing arts, who are committed to exploring the social, political, and ecological issues of our time. They approach these topics with humor, self-deprecation, and a touch of multilingualism. By crossing languages and cultures and playing with the codes of stage writing, they invite the audience to reflect differently on the societal issues that drive us.

For the second consecutive year, the Théâtre de l'Orangerie is holding a competition for the creation of a classical work or one inspired by a classical work. The selection was made by a jury composed of final-year students from the Geneva Conservatory. This initiative, driven by a spirit of openness, encourages reinterpretation and creativity around the classical repertoire.
