An opportunity for parents and loved ones to share experiences and discuss the life of a child. Sunday 22 November at 3.30 pm. MEG Library.

Les Créatives and the MEG are joining forces for a weekend packed with a varied programme, entirely dedicated to the youngest members of the community.
Racism permeates the society in which children are growing up. Whether they are confronted with it directly, witness it and/or unwittingly perpetuate stereotypes, these realities are already part of their everyday lives.
This discussion group offers a space to talk about these issues, whether you are a parent, a close friend, a family member or an adult who plays a key role in a child’s life. Drawing on real-life situations and personal experiences, we will reflect collectively on how to listen to children, respond to their questions or their silences, address injustices without causing fear, and instil values of respect, justice and solidarity. Designed as a space for adults to exchange ideas, this session allows participants to speak freely, to share their experiences, questions or doubts, without children present, so that we can take the time to reflect together with perspective and care.
BLÉD is a travelling decolonial library which, amongst other things, runs anti-racist reflection workshops for people of all ages.
