Animuse geologists share their passion in the grand salon of the Museum of the History of Science. (Please note that this conference will be held in French.)

Ruby, beryl, amethyst, garnet, copper, iron oxide, gypsum, clay: whether for their beauty, value or usefulness, minerals have had a major influence on the history of mankind. Many scientists have brought them back from their travels.
The advent of crystallography in the 18th century made it possible to understand their fascinating geometric shapes. And for us all, in any case, they are a source of wonder. Come and discover the thousand facets of minerals!
