Nawell Madani

Just Nawell

After a 5-year absence and a remarkable comeback at the Marrakech du Rire, Nawell Madani is back on stage with a brand new show. In "Nawell tout court", the Belgian comedian promises us a good dose of laughter and frankness!

Following the remarkable success of her first one-woman show, ‘C'est moi la plus belge’, in which she recounts her journey as a young Belgian from Molenbeek who set out to conquer Paris, Nawell Madani took the time to develop a new show, which was presented as a run-in in January 2024 at the Théâtre Boulimie in Lausanne. In a brand new version, the show is now ready for 7, 8 and 9 May 2025 at the Théâtre de Beaulieu in Lausanne and the BFM in Geneva.

In this eagerly-awaited second one-woman show, Nawell promises to talk about everything. Between mental burdens, fame and the temptation of botox, the comedian returns more mature than ever! In an age when everything moves too fast, this jack-of-all-trades takes the time to share the ups and downs of her daily life with candour and wit. Her challenges. Her shortcomings. No more blah, blah, blah, Nawell takes the shortcuts.

Belgian-born actress Nawell Madani first came to prominence when she appeared on the Jamel Comedy Club. She then moved into television as a presenter and columnist on several channels. In 2012, she joined the team at Le Grand Journal and a year later created her own TV show, Jam'Girls, in which various female comedians appear. She has also appeared on screen in the comedy Alibi.com and in her autobiographical film C'est tout pour moi, which she directed herself. More recently, it was in the whodunit series Jusqu'ici tout va bien, broadcast on Netflix, that the actress made her mark in the lead role and as writer and director.
