Opening of the temporary exhibition at the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Museum in the presence of the artist.
The International Red Cross and Red Crescent Museum is hosting the first European solo show of Angélica Serech (b. 1982), an artist of Maya Kaqchikel origin born in Guatemala. Entitled Pach’un Q’ijul (Temps entrelacés/Deep Time ), it sets up a dialogue between the artist’s recent works and objects from the Museum’s collection.
As part of a socially engaged approach and the museum’s 2025 annual theme of “co-construction,” an artwork, first initiated by the artist, will be available to the public, encouraging collaborative participation throughout the exhibition.
The museum team has the pleasure to invite you to the opening of the Angélica Serech exhibition, Pach'un Q'ijul (Temps entrelacés – Deep Time), along with the tapestry created by Zahrasadat Hakim and the museum's visitors.
