Performe mon corps
800 km in 26 days on a treadmill: between running, dancing, and liberation
Performe mon corps is an artistic exploration covering 800 km in 26 days, blending running, dance, writing, and social engagement. Every day, Léa Deschaintres investigates the moving body as a space of truth and transformation. This performance brings the fragility of dance into dialogue with the strength of endurance, while questioning notions of gender, legitimacy, and practice."My body has the right to be all of this at once."The 2025 edition takes place in the context of the Women's Football Euro Championship, offering a poetic and political counterpoint on endurance and femininity in motion.Program:11:00 AM – 5:00 PM: Treadmill running (approx. 30 km/day) and 5 short performances of 10 minutes each6:00 PM: Main performance (20 minutes) followed by an interactive moment with the audienceA second treadmill is set up alongside the main one, allowing the public to run beside the artist — an invitation to join this physical journey, experience exertion, and promote movement in public space.Discover her world: View this post on Instagram
