Pierre-Emmanuel Barré
COME-BACK
COME-BACK
A play by Pierre-Emmanuel Barré
(with visual effects, sound and all that!)
2031. That's it: Pierre-Emmanuel Barré is has-been.
To make a comeback, he's decided to create a new show.
But to say what?
An adept of black humour, Pierre-Emmanuel Barré is a key figure on the French comedy scene. With a style that straddles the line between social criticism and humour, he is back on stage with a new show, ‘Come-Back’.
After making a name for himself with his one-man show ‘Pierre-Emmanuel Barré est un sale con’, which was a huge hit with the public, he became a columnist on France Inter, where he made his mark with explosive weekly columns. He then moved on to television, taking part in ‘La Nouvelle Edition’ on Canal+ before joining ‘Folie Passagère’ on France 2.
With his provocative humour and corrosive tone, Pierre-Emmanuel Barré stands out for his outspokenness and his way of highlighting the absurdities of the contemporary world. His total lack of finesse delights spectators, listeners and viewers alike, who laugh at his horrors. As well as performing on stage, he has broadened his range of artistic activities. His videos, produced during confinement or during election campaigns, are viewed by millions and generate a real popular craze.
Pierre-Emmanuel Barré will be making his ‘Come-Back’ in theatres, with a much-anticipated appearance at Geneva's BFM on 8 March 2025.
