Screening of the film 'Bye Bye Tibériade'.

The film follows Hiam Abbass and her daughter Lina through family videos, tracing four generations of Palestinian women, exploring memory, identity and resilience in the face of exile.

The film Bye Bye Tibériade will be followed by a discussion to explore themes such as identity, exile and memory. This moment of exchange will explore the characters' journeys and reflect on the condition of Palestinian women through different generations.
The event is organized by IAMANEH Switzerland. We work to improve access to care, protect against gender-based violence and strengthen the empowerment of women and families. Our festival 'Femmes', in its third edition, aims to raise public awareness of issues linked to gender equality and the fight against violence against women, through films, discussions and testimonies.
Followed by a discussion with Souhail Belhadj-Klaz, researcher and professor at the Geneva Graduate Institute, and Rania Madi, lawyer, involved with NGOs, notably WILPF, working to defend the rights of Palestinians.
The event is organized with the support of the Office for the Promotion of Equality and Prevention of Violence (BPEV) of the Canton of Geneva, as part of the November 25 Campaign - Geneva
