Quatuor Terpsycordes et Geneva Brass : Juliette & Roméo
Shakespeare in brass and strings
The Terpsycordes Quartet and Geneva Brass, two major players on the Geneva music scene, have joined forces for the first time in Juliette & Roméo to reinterpret Sergei Prokofiev’s legendary ballet score Romeo and Juliet in a one-of-a-kind arrangement for strings, brass and percussion. Conceived by trumpeter Baptiste Berlaud, this bold and intense reinterpretation pays tribute to the drama and intensity of Shakespeare’s tragic lovers and their timeless passion, which resonates through the ages.
