A local, creative and sustainable exhibition, in collaboration with Renfile and Onl’fait.

Re:Make embodies the idea that a desirable future can emerge from what already exists, through creativity, collaboration and repurposing.
Designers are invited to devise objects for workspaces that can foster new interactions and transform the way we work, whilst prioritising resource-efficient design.
8 designers – 8 objects
Using salvaged furniture, materials and objects, each designer is invited to create a unique piece. The objects devised must engage with contemporary ways of working: concentration, wellbeing, collaboration, conviviality, creativity and social interaction.
Creative process
The exhibition champions a resource-conscious approach to design, where creativity is expressed as much in the final object as in the design and manufacturing processes. The creative process is an essential aspect of this approach. The designers draw on the flow of materials and objects passing through the CSP’s skips, treating what already exists as a resource and constraints as a driving force for their projects.
Through reuse, transformation or repurposing, designers are invited to breathe new life into forgotten fragments and to explore new design methods.
The aim is to create functional and meaningful objects that combine a low-tech, sustainable approach, an aesthetic of transformation, and a focus on their life cycle, reparability and potential for reuse.
