MEETING AND SPECIAL SESSION: ?BRUNAUPARK (2023) by Felix Hergert & Dominik Zietlow!

📝Synopsis: Ciccio and his eponymous pizzeria are the soul of the neighbourhood. Elena has lived here for over ten years and loves the friendly atmosphere in the neighbourhood. The Stiess family love the idyllic setting and Mrs Müller the cheap rent. All these people are part of a very special microcosm, Zurich's Brunaupark. But radical changes are afoot. The Crédit Suisse pension fund, which owns the flats, is planning to convert the buildings and has terminated their leases. Behind the windows and doors, resistance is getting organised.

🎬Felix Hergert and Dominik Zietlow spent three years with this very diverse community, recounting the creeping change that this living space is undergoing in a tone that is somewhere between comic and tragic. The result is a loving portrait of a resilient, vibrant neighbourhood facing up to its destiny.
