Sami Galbi, a Swiss-Moroccan musician, fuses the traditional sounds of Raï and Chaâbi with contemporary and electro touches, drawing inspiration from his childhood memories of Casablanca and Marseille.

Signed to Bongo Joe Records, he revisits these genres with humour and a fusion of different energies, from 80s disco to trap and hip-hop.

His influences, drawn from Moroccan weddings and taxis, are reinterpreted with analogue synths and guitar, breathing new life into popular North African music in a club atmosphere.
