Sane Satan - Teresa Vittucci

Teresa Vittucci's Sane Satan runs from 21 to 24 May 2025 at the Maison Saint-Gervais in Geneva.

With "Sane Satan", Teresa Vittucci continues her blasphemous odyssey and propose a playful version of the tale of evil. After performing the revisited figures of Mary and Eve, the artist is interested in the bad boy of the Bible for the last part of his trilogy "In praise of vulnerability". Through the prism of a queer reinterpretation, she makes Satan the mascot of outsiders. Lucifer rehabilitated as a feminist liberator from the tyranny of God the Father, defies the misogynist theocracy. The devil combines his high transformist potential with the attributes of the bimbo, diabolical creature, moulded in bad taste, artifice, vulgarity and candy pink. By reappropriating with humor and sacrilege the right to freely dispose of his body, to modify it, to transform it, and to exhibit it as a plastic toy, The bimbo breaks the shackles with the lightness of a soap bubble.
