More than twenty years ago, Satoko Fujii’s quartet shook up the world of improvised music with their thunderous fusion of avant-rock and sophisticated free jazz. Now reunited, the band members are back in full force with their raw, irrepressible energy, channeled into Fujii’s mercurial and unpredictable compositions.
