Guided visit

"Summer special": an object, a sound, a story: meeting Ottoki

Family visit to discover an aspect of the rich collections of the MEG. Library and permanent exhibition. Thursday 7 July, 3.00 p. m. Free, upon registration. In French only

Paire de lunettes de neige iggaak

As part of the “Partir en livres” program, whose theme this summer is “Our Heroes, Big and Small”, let's meet Ottoki, a young Inuit, who saves an astronaut on the ice floe near the North Magnetic Pole, and how the astronaut thanked him, a long time later and a long way from Earth. After looking at the objects in the Inuit display case, discover Ottoki's story in the library's music room. We'll finish our visit by listening to Inuit sounds.
Places are limited and reservations must be made by email to biblio.meg@geneve.ch, stating your full name, telephone number and the number of people accompanying you.
