A new invitation to spend an evening with musicians and dancers sharing a common passion: Argentine tango.

 

7.30pm: Don't miss the vibrant concert by Tan Gomias at TO ! A musical, spiritual and aesthetic journey into the depths of Latin American music.

 

9pm: The Grand Théâtre de Genève will be showing the tango opera "Maria de Buenos Aires" under the stars in the Parc La Grange.

The Grand Théâtre de Genève (GTG) invites you to an open-air screening of Ástor Piazzolla's work.

TAM GOMIAS with :

 

JULIEN BLONDEL
Initially a jazz pianist, he later turned to classical music.
His musical language, which straddles these two cultures, quickly led him to popular and traditional music, which became his speciality.

 

(Argentine tango and folklore, Brazil, Manouche, Musette, French song and jazz).

 

PABLO BROTZMAN
Chromatic and diatonic harmonica player, composer and arranger

 

He started out playing the blues and then turned to the roots of his country, Argentina, playing tango and popular music.
For over 30 years, he has performed on various stages in Europe and South America.

 

He lives between Buenos Aires and Geneva.
He is a member of various tango and traditional Argentine music groups.

 

PEDRO RATTO
Born in Buenos Aires, guitarist, singer and composer.
Based in Geneva since 2018, he is involved in a number of projects, including "Dúo R&R","...Y su Orquesta Trío (Collectif Roulotte Tango)", as well as working as a teacher of Argentine music at the Ateliers d' Ethnomusicologie de Genève ADEM and at La Julienne (Plan-les-Ouates).
