On Saturday 10 October 2026 from 11.00 am, the Auberge du Lion d’Or in Cologny invites you to a day celebrating local produce, sharing and a warm, friendly atmosphere.
Before closing its doors for a major refurbishment, the Auberge wishes to make the most of this final day to bring together all those who bring the region to life: producers, craftspeople, winegrowers, shopkeepers, locals and visitors… and, above all, those who have kept the Auberge going for so many years…
Several local businesses and producers will be present throughout the day to showcase their products, trades and expertise.

A market that reflects the region

The Farmers’ Market will be an opportunity to meet the men and women who work day in, day out to provide quality produce.
Cheeses, fruit and vegetables, honey, meat, wine, delicatessen items, pastries and other local specialities will be on offer at the various stalls.

The idea is simple: take the time to explore, chat, sample and leave with some lovely finds in your basket.

A day out for the whole family

Because a market is also a chance to meet people, the day will feature live music and games for children in the garden.
Whilst the little ones enjoy the entertainment, adults can take the time to chat with the producers, learn about their stories and expertise, or simply soak up the atmosphere of the Auberge.
A day to enjoy with family, friends or simply as the mood takes you.

And for food lovers, let’s stay at the table!

There’s no question of coming to the market without taking the time to eat and share.
Several dining areas will be available on site:

• Appetiser platters
Plenty of options to have lunch on site, enjoy a drink, keep the conversation going and make the most of this day out in Cologny.

What if the weather isn’t on our side?

The market will mainly take place in the Auberge’s outdoor areas and in the garden.
But the weather won’t spoil the party: a contingency plan is in place with tents and marquees to welcome visitors in comfortable conditions.
The Auberge’s indoor areas may also be used to keep the food and drink areas sheltered.
Whatever the weather, every arrangement has been made to ensure the day unfolds in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
