As part of the Science Festival on October 3, 4, and 10, the Salève Cable Car is offering children aged 8 to 12 a series of immersive and creative workshops...

For the Science Festival, the Salève Cable Car is transforming into a hub of exploration where science, new technology, and creativity converge.
In partnership with Addictlab Academy, we are offering three immersive workshops for children aged 8 to 12, allowing them to experience the cable car in a new way—shifting from mere visitors to actual creators.
Through fun, collaborative activities, participants will explore the mechanics behind the Salève Cable Car’s operation while learning the fundamentals of programming, robotics, and digital design.
Observing, imagining, building, programming, and experimenting will be at the heart of these workshops, specially designed to make learning fun.
Each workshop challenges children to tackle a unique task, helping them develop their logic, creativity, problem-solving skills, and teamwork.
Saturday, October 3 – Designing a cable car concept with LEGO® SPIKE Prime
Sunday, October 4 – Creating a cable car-themed video game using Scratch
