In today’s apocalyptic world, everything moves so fast that talking about time can seem like a waste. But This Is The Kit, the project of Winchester-born singer-songwriter, banjo strummer, and now Paris-based Kate Stables, proves otherwise, as evidenced by her gorgeously authentic and cosy albums and live performances. This Is The Kit’s music is rooted in the present, with a folk atmosphere that emphasises camaraderie, elegance, and joy. Stables is backed on stage by three superb musicians and an evening in the band’s company undoubtedly promises to be time well spent!
