A weekend in Asia

To celebrate the museum's 60th anniversary, the Baur Foundation has put together a weekend entirely made in Asia!
Demonstrations of martial arts and traditional arts, creative workshops for adults and children, guided tours, treasure hunts, or tastings...there will be something for everyone and for all tastes.

Saturday, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., continuous activities:

• Demonstrations of Chinese martial arts - shaolin, xingyi or taiji
• Demonstration and sale of polychrome prints
• Guided tour of Chinese ceramics
• Chinese calligraphy workshopJapanese fan painting workshop
• "Dragon watch" or the hunt for Chinese dragons
• Samurai armor to try

Sunday, from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., continuous activities:

• Demonstrations of Japanese martial arts - iaido and jodo
• Demonstration and sale of sumi-e paintings
• Visit of the Japanese garden and the room with sword ornaments
• Visit of Japanese pop culture
• Chinese calligraphy workshop
• Workshop for making Chinese pendants
• "Dragon watch" or the hunt for Chinese dragons
• An armor of samurai to try
