On Saturday, January 11th, l'eMa is delighted to welcome the prodigious pianist and composer Uri Caine for a free Masterclass followed by a Concert. A must-see !
Uri Caine is a renowned American pianist and composer, famous for his mastery of jazz, classical and chamber music. A daring innovator, his unique approach mixes musical styles with exceptional creative freedom. A pioneer of contemporary jazz, he has made a name for himself outside of academic conventions, thanks to an artistic expression marked by unparalleled curiosity and boldness.
He is coming to Geneva for a unique concert at the Auditorium Ansermet, featuring his resolutely eclectic and innovative compositions, and will be accompanied by four talented musicians and teachers : Thomas Dobler (vibraphone) and Bänz Oester (double bass), from the Haute Ecole de Musique de Lausanne, and Stefano Saccon (saxophone) and Maxence Sibille (drums), from l'eMa.
